The incredible, edible egg
Everybody knows that eggs are so delicious. But did you also know that they can help you reduce your risk of several diseases, protect the skin and eyes from sun damage and improve brain and liver function? Yes, and those are just some of the amazing health benefits of egg nutrition. Eggs are a great source of protein, which we all need every day. Not only are they excellent sources of protein, but they are also packed with vitamins and minerals as well.
The vitamins and minerals found in eggs include Lutein, beta carotene, flavonoids, and several B vitamins. All of these nutrients play an important role in our health, but some of these nutrients are more important than others. For example, a nutrient called Lutein is needed for strong and healthy eyesight. While we usually do not get enough of it through diet, eating eggs can help to make sure we get a boost in our daily nutrition.
Another benefit of eating eggs is that they contain a high amount of nutrients like potassium, chromium, magnesium, sodium, zinc, manganese, and cholesterol. That’s why eating whole eggs instead of egg whites or egg yolks is better for your health, because there is an excellent amount of nutrition in eggs. So if you are looking for a great source of protein but don’t want to compensate by eating tons of red meat, then you should really consider eggs. Egg nutrition is one of my favorite nutrition tips!
